Traditional Lunch in the Fields Enjoy lunch in a peaceful natural setting surrounded by local fields. Experience the flavours of traditional Moroccan cuisine and take time to appreciate the landscape and local way of life. 4x4 Desert Journey: Foum Zguid to the Sahara After lunch, begin your 4x4 adventure towards the Sahara Desert, discovering the spectacular landscapes around Waziz Oasis, Lake Iriqui and the Chegaga dunes. Stop 1: Waziz Oasis Take a short break of approximately 10 minutes to enjoy traditional tea prepared with local wild herbs. Meet a local nomad who will introduce you to plants traditionally used by the inhabitants of the region. Stop 2: Lake Iriqui Region Continue towards the Iriqui region, where a short stop of approximately 5 minutes offers an introduction to the area's history, distinctive geological formations and characteristic desert stones. Stop 3: Crossing the Sahara towards Chegaga Continue your journey across the vast desert landscapes towards Chegaga, enjoying panoramic views, open horizons and the remarkable beauty of the Sahara. Arrival at the Desert Bivouac Arrive at the desert camp and settle into your tent. Enjoy the sunset over the dunes, admire the star-filled sky and experience a memorable evening accompanied by traditional music. A traditional dinner will be served at the bivouac, followed by an overnight stay in the heart of the desert, surrounded by peace and tranquillity. Day 2: Sunrise, Nomadic Encounters and Return to Foum Zguid Sunrise and Breakfast Wake up early to admire the beautiful sunrise over the desert landscape. Return to the bivouac for breakfast and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara. Meet Local Nomads On the return journey to Foum Zguid, stop to meet local nomads and learn about their traditional lifestyle, daily customs and adaptation to the desert environment. Return to Foum Zguid Continue by 4x4 through the desert tracks towards Foum Zguid, bringing your adventure to an end with wonderful memories of local culture, traditional hospitality and the breathtaking landscapes of the Sahara.
